Wedding & Event Assistants

We are excited to announce that we are now hiring Wedding & Event Assistants for the 2021 Wedding & Event Season! We are seeking positive, dynamic, helpful, flexible, and professional staff members to help serve our BVW clients and couples to help make their dreams come true!

Wedding & Event Assistants are the Day of Coordinators’ go to support staff members that help make the wedding/event day go smoothly. This includes setting up tables and chairs, decor, helping manage the timeline, assisting with vendor communication, sanitizing the event space throughout the evening, cleaning up at the end of the night and assisting the Day of Coordinator with whatever they need.

Experience coordinating events and weddings is not required but helpful. This position is based on the needs of individual events and is determined by your availability.

Wedding & Event Assistants are paid per wedding/event that they execute and are required to execute and assist with a minimum of 5 weddings per year to remain a Wedding & Event Assistant.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to be on your feet for 5 to 10 hours.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Calming presence and ability to work with timelines.
  • Customer service focused, flexible, and organized.
  • Access to Wi-Fi, a computer and phone.
  • Ability to drive and has reliable transportation to and from events.
  • Great time management.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
